Tom Tom and Joe's Orange Anvil Tour

A cross-country trip commemorating and delivering Joe P. Rooney from coast to coast, it began with Joe’s reluctance to be delivered by the postal service to the West Coast. After a couple of beers an offer was made to take Joe on one last road trip across the country via motorcycle. Joe’s response was “I’m in”. Since that “I’m in”, plans have been made, motorcycle made ready and two Tom passengers have signed on for the wild ride of Joe’s final cross-country tour. You’re invited to follow along.

5,931 is the total mileage so far. One more day of riding to Albany, drop dad off, then driving solo back to Maine. The weather has been hot. We left Bowling Green around 4 this morning to get a jump on the day, figuring it would get too hot to deal with. So today, we are in Jamestown, NY.
