Tom Tom and Joe's Orange Anvil Tour

A cross-country trip commemorating and delivering Joe P. Rooney from coast to coast, it began with Joe’s reluctance to be delivered by the postal service to the West Coast. After a couple of beers an offer was made to take Joe on one last road trip across the country via motorcycle. Joe’s response was “I’m in”. Since that “I’m in”, plans have been made, motorcycle made ready and two Tom passengers have signed on for the wild ride of Joe’s final cross-country tour. You’re invited to follow along.

I'm back in Missoula, at the Thunderbird, again! I took route 12 through Idaho, which by the way, ROCKS! Over 100 miles of twisty roads that follow the Clearwater river. It started raining once I got over Lolo pass. Not bad, a couple of boomers here and there. That's all for now folks! Oil change in the morning, and the Ural is under the awning again.
