My Dad

He has got a big old green duffel bag over his shoulder, a black hat a
top his head, a cigarette in one hand and cold beer in the other, he turns
back grins his goofy grin, bottom lip to nose and stomps away in his
favorite cowboy boots and broken in Levi's. He is skinny again with his
sun soaked skin and gray beard, his muscled arms swinging with his stride.
He is my Dad again ready to head where ever the wind blows him leaving
his broken body behind, but taking his healthy soul on down the road.

Joe quote of the day: "What's the horse plan?"

Longest day of riding so far. Started off being a very raw, cold day. As we entered Erie, Pa, it became obvious that that town s&&ks, so it looked like it would be like that on Route 20 through Cleveland, so I elected to pop the cherrie on the Ural, and ride i
I-90 from just out of Erie, and through Cleveland. We then picked up route 6 , which wasn't bad by lake Erie, (very rich in parts), which eventually after many miles turned into flat, flat, flat... The good thing about this flatness is it might get me more distance on my rear pusher tire. That is all for now. 324 actual miles later, not KM's.

Day 2 Journey

Skyline RV park

So I'm here at the skyline RV park with dad. The orange anvil did well today, but it had to work hard, with driving winds pushing at us and lots of steep hills in the finger lakes region. Also had to contend with a strong thunder storm, so we had to lay low for a while. Pics for the day will come later..,:)
